FROM STRUGGLE TO STRENGTH
THE STORY BEHIND H20 ATHLETICS BOXING GYM
Founded in August 2021, H2O Athletics was created with a clear mission to raise the standard of boxing in Nepal and build a professional environment where fighters can develop at the highest level. The gym was founded by Sujit Kumar Pun Magar, a passionate boxing coach and mentor who envisioned creating a world-class boxing facility in Nepal. Driven by this vision and the growth of the athletes training under him, Sujit made two life changing decisions moving from United States back to Nepal and later selling his bar business in Thamel and investing everything into building a dedicated boxing academy.
H2O Athletics was established not simply as a gym, but as a boxing school built on discipline, knowledge, and opportunity. The goal has always been to educate people about the art and science of boxing while providing serious athletes with the tools necessary to pursue boxing as a professional career. Athletes from H2O have taken part in dozens of international amateur competitions, gaining valuable experience and helping showcase the potential of Nepali boxing on the global stage.
At the same time, H2O Athletics is not only for competitive fighters. The gym also offers boxing based fitness programs for individuals looking to improve their strength, conditioning, and overall health through the sport. Whether training to compete or simply to stay fit, H2O Athletics provides a professional and supportive environment where anyone can experience the discipline, confidence, and physical benefits of boxing.
